GEORGIAN PRIME MINISTER PAID TRIBUTE TO THE MEMORY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE VICTIMS
On October 15, within his official visit to Armenia, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia visited the Armenian Genocide Monument accompanied with Hayk Marutyan, the Mayor of Yerevan, and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of RA, laid a wreath and put flowers at the eternal fire.
The guests were welcomed by AGMI Director Harutyun Marutyan, who presented to the guest the history and symbolism of the Genocide Monument.
After paying tribute to the memory of the innocent martyrs, Georgian Prime Minister had a tour at the Memory Alley and watered the nominal fir he planted during his previous visit.
Georgian Prime Minister Georgi Gakharia had visited the Armenian Genocide Museum in 2018, as Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs. He had acquainted with the museum exhibition and left note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.
