In November 20, Mayor of Georgian Mtskheta city and representatives of the City Council visited AGMI. Mayor Avtandil Nemsitsveridze, City Council Chairman Ilya Jishkariani, and Municipality Culture and Sport Specialist Tengiz Khutsishvili visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the episodes and proofs of the Armenian Genocide.
Mayor Avtandil Nemsitsveridze left a note in the book of honorable guests.
The guest visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial accompanied with Mayor of Etchmiadzin Karen Grigoryan and Deputy Mayors and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
In the same day, a memorandum of cooperation between the two cities will be signed in Etchmiadzin. Etchmiadzin and Mtskheta will become twin towns.
